2. What LagosBabe Is (And Isn't)

2.1 What LagosBabe Provides

LagosBabe offers Nike, an AI companion who:

• Provides conversational companionship and emotional support
• Remembers your conversations for personalization (up to 90 days)
• Uses conversational AI techniques to help you think through challenges
• Understands Nigerian culture and context
• Is available 24/7 for general conversations

3.1 When to Seek Professional Help

You MUST seek professional help if you are experiencing:

• Mental Health Crisis: Suicidal thoughts, severe depression, psychosis, or self-harm urges
• Medical Emergency: Any physical health symptoms requiring diagnosis or treatment
• Legal Issues: Anything involving contracts, court cases, or legal rights
• Financial Decisions: Major investment decisions, business contracts, or debt management
• Abuse or Violence: Domestic violence, assault, or threats to your safety

3.2 No Guarantees on Accuracy

Nike's responses are generated by AI and may contain:

• Inaccurate information
• Incomplete advice
• Cultural or contextual misunderstandings
• Technical errors or glitches

Always verify important information through reliable sources or professionals.

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 You Agree To:

• Provide accurate registration information (valid email)
• Keep your account secure and confidential
• Use LagosBabe for legal, personal purposes only
• Be respectful in your interactions with Nike
• Not attempt to manipulate, hack, or abuse the service
• Report any bugs or security issues to support@lagosbabe.com

4.2 You Agree NOT To:

• Share your account with others
• Use bots, scripts, or automation tools
• Attempt to reverse-engineer Nike's AI
• Use the service to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse the system
• Share explicit sexual content or images
• Use LagosBabe for commercial purposes without permission
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Share content that violates Nigerian laws

5. Account and Subscription

5.1 Free Trial

• New users receive 30 free chats upon registration
• No credit card required for the free trial
• Free chats expire if not used within 90 days

5.2 Paid Subscriptions

• Subscription plans are billed monthly or annually
• Payments are processed through Paystack
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime from your account settings
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

5.3 Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Abuse the service or attempt fraud
• Generate harmful or illegal content
• Engage in harassment or threatening behavior

6. Your Data and Privacy

6.1 What You Own

You own the content of your conversations with Nike. However, by using LagosBabe, you grant us a license to:

• Store your conversations to provide memory features
• Analyze conversations (anonymously and in aggregate) to improve Nike
• Use conversations to train and enhance our AI systems

6.2 Privacy

Your privacy is important. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

7. AI-Generated Content

7.1 Text Responses

• All of Nike's responses are generated by AI (powered by OpenAI)
• Responses are not fact-checked before being sent to you
• Nike's opinions are algorithmic, not human opinions
• We continuously work to improve accuracy and cultural sensitivity

7.2 AI-Generated Images (If Applicable)

• Any images generated by LagosBabe are created by artificial intelligence
• AI-generated images do NOT depict real people
• All AI-generated content is fictional and created for entertainment
• You cannot use AI-generated images for illegal or harmful purposes

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, LagosBabe provides the service "AS IS" without warranties of any kind.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 LagosBabe's IP

LagosBabe owns all rights to:

• The Nike AI system and algorithms
• The LagosBabe platform, design, and branding
• All content created by us (website, documentation, etc.)

9.2 Your Rights

You retain rights to your original content and conversations, subject to the license you grant us (see Section 6.1).

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features
• Change pricing or subscription plans (with 30 days notice)
• Update Nike's AI model or behavior
• Temporarily suspend service for maintenance

We'll notify you of significant changes via email.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do:

• We'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top
• We'll notify you via email for significant changes
• Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms

12. Termination

12.1 You Can Terminate

You can delete your account anytime from your settings. This will:

• Immediately stop your subscription (no further charges)
• Permanently delete your conversations and data within 30 days
• Remove your access to LagosBabe

12.2 We Can Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You'll receive email notification before termination (unless immediate action is required for safety/legal reasons).

13. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with LagosBabe:

1. Contact us first at support@lagosbabe.com - we'll try to resolve it amicably
2. If that fails, disputes will be resolved under Nigerian law
3. The courts of Lagos, Nigeria will have exclusive jurisdiction

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LagosBabe.

14.2 Severability

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.

14.4 Assignment

You can't transfer your account or these terms. We may transfer our rights to another entity.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
